I have a chance to trade for Bryz, however the owner has pretty much said he will want Rinne coming his way in any deal.
Worth it, or am i buying into a unknown situation with Bryz and should stick with a steady guy like Rinne?

Bingo. Rinne will get enough starts to match Bryz in wins I think, even if Philly wins more games overall. The rest of the cats will belong to Bryz. Term and money say he'll have a job in the NHL for a long time and he is very talented, but Rinne is more talented and as long as Trotz is in NSH, his stats will get the extra boost anyway. Rinne was one of the best goalies this season - you don't need Bryzgalov.
when it comes to fantasy goalies, unless the team playing in front of them is just an absolutely dominating defensive team I'll invariably pick the more talented goalie. That way if he's ever traded it won't matter as much where he ends up. Rinne is IMO a top 5 (even top 3) goalie in the league in terms of pure talent and ability and the Preds D is a great help too, I'd go with Rinne, even though I think Bryz is an excellent guy to own right now
Absolutely the wrong time to be trading for Bryz - too much hype - I think his value will settle back down some. If I owned him, I would sure be shopping him now though.
Shoeless is right. I'd want Rinne more anyway though.

Pronger will most likely take the Capt. and the team morale will be a all time high for the kids (JVR,Gioux) gaining the ice time richards/Carter ate up. Tough to give that up... unless your getting a 80+ forward in return!?
Sorry for semi jacking the thread... My vote will be for Bryzgalov one word (SOLID) in all cats, can't go wrong.
