ill try and give kesler a fresh slate for the finals. i'll cheer for the nucks, but if i even see one dive or some serious embellishment i'll be singing black and yellow.

Happy for Bruins fans as I stated in that thread that I was rooting for the B's so two players that play prominent roles on their teams (Thomas & Burrows) played in the ECHL which I grew up watching in Johnstown.

Now that both are in,Canucks are my second favorite teams since 1994 and will be rooting hard for them. Should be a very good series...

Can these players stop being sissies and just touch the freaking trophy? Dumbest superstition.

Anyways, can't see Boston matching up well to Vancouver. GOnna be a quick series, Cup will be back in "Canada".

    wow i just noticed:

bruins forwards: 13/14 are canadian (if you include savard)

David Krejci is the bruins only non-canadian forward...WOW

    bruins defencemen: 4/7 are canadian

uh...which one is canada's team again?

You can add in that if Lucic wins that cup, that it's coming to Vancouver.

Not the way I'd wish it however.

Just my opinion, but I was very disappointed with the level of play in the East. The Western teams look stronger. Of course the games still have to be played but I think the Canucks are simply a better team. Canucks in 5.

Yep I feel the same way. The West teams looked far better.

I agree with those who are suggesting the western conferance teams looked hotter, and I do feel that VCR is generally a better well rounded team than the B's.

Only a Luongo meltdown (not completely unlikely) will fail the 'nucks from taking this in 6 or 7 IMO...

However, we all know the power of goaltending in the playoffs and I trust/would go to war with Thomas over Luongo easily at this point...should be a great series.

    BREAKING NEWS

whichever team wins the cup, Brian Burke is guarenteed to have his name on it, seeing as how he built both teams

    LLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL nice.

    canucks in 5.

boston hasnt run into a team with a shutdown player like ryan kesler. montreal and tampa bay dont have a guy like that. mike richards is a great selke candidate in his own right, but we all know he was playing hurt.

    tampa bay defense:
brewer, ohlund, hedman, clark, bergeron, lundin

    vancouver defense
bieksa, hamhuis, edler, salo, ehrhoff, ballard/rome

bbiigg difference. home ice makes it a landslide in my opinion barring lucic being byfuglien #2 or luongo ****in up/thomas standing on his head
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.

Lol, that would totally be me. I have my bar fridge sitting right next to the couch and I don't take my eyes off the screen when I grab a beer.

I love that rant man! Dennis Leary is the man!

I can't believe I have to angry about this ****. I never thought they'd change the beer and the coffee. Who knew? I'm gonna open my own bar, okay? It's going to be the most retro bar in the history of New York. We're going to serve coffee, donuts, cigarettes, beer and whiskey and that's it
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

    Canucks in 6.

Also you made a little mistake there DY. The last time the Northwest division won a Stanley Cup was in 2001 when my Avs accomplished mission 16W.
