Loving this trade for Renegades, especially with SOG. Though I'm assuming Ev = Silver Seven therefore hard-on for Karlsson.

yup Byfuglien is the better player because of his SOG...I wasn't sure if that's realistic going forward though. Even Mike Green scored 31 goals and didn't shoot at a 350+ shot clip. I think that 350+ SOG total is gonna be an anomaly for Byfuglien.

anyways, I think we both don't win or lose (or whoever wins it doesn't win by much), and we get the player we wanted for our pairings (he has Enstrom, I have Rundblad). Win-win!

It was very very hard to part with Karlsson but Big Eve knew he had to overpay a little. He got his man though and I got byfuglien to pair with enstrom.

Sorry Renegade but I hope Byfuglien returns to the Byfuglien of old and falls flat on his face

We will see... if Bogo gets traded. Watch out.

Plus I think that with ATL getting better... it'll have team focus less on Buffy.

WOW... now that is a nice deal....

On the Buff trade, I agree a lot with Big Ev. Next year is really going to be an indicator as to what we can expect each year from Buff. 350 SOG is huge, no other dman is close. I just can't see him replicating last year, though he'll continue to be a multi-cat stud...

Interested in your thoughts (or anyone's) on that Carlson/Couture, Yandle/Roy swap.

My thinking was Yandle peaked last year. As the young forwards develop on that team Yandle will not be relied upon for offense. Consequently, he will play a more defensive role. He will still yield some nice numbers no doubt, but not the 59pts he had this past season. Overall, I like Carlson's upside better too.

As for Roy/Couture....similar upsides with me getting some youth in return. Not that Roy is old per se, but Couture's age fits with the rest of my squad.

    That was my view...
