I don't think I am getting worked up over nothing here - I am definitely not offended by other points of view - I am offended by ignorant bravado when I know some actual facts about the situation.
I say things with impact because that is the only way you can get people to possibly think outside the box a bit - slap them in the face.
I can take it too, and I am not without the need for it myself. In fact sometimes it changes my perspective and makes me rethink my own world view.
It's not easy to do, and that's why it gets people angry. No one wants to think that their world view might have some illusions in it that need to be re-examined - that's difficult to do and a common reaction is anger. I've done it too, but I try to correct it when I see it in myself (with varying degrees of success - life is a work in progress).

my original post post WAS about a SONG, that was two days ago..
