Yeah TG - team win. I guess I just am amused at picking this guy up when he got traded and having him create an issue for me with my keepers. Good for him and the Bolts for getting to this point.

I have him, Brodeur, Thomas and Fleury in one of my leagues. My plan was to drop Roloson for Reimer this summer but now do I drop Brodeur (Blasphemy)? If Roloson keeps this up I may just go into next year with three old goalies and be comfortable with that!

At this rate he's re-signing in Tampa. They have a ton of cap space so that shouldn't be an issue. It's been mutually beneficial for both player and team.

Ahhh - that I was aware of and in fact read somewhere in Goldie's stuff a couple of weeks ago that he is fully expected to resign with the Bolts. Seems to me with this run that it would be a matter of honor for Yzerman to get a deal done with him. He has already more than paid for his next contract.

What I do wonder is if they will have him mentoring Desjardins as his backup or tandem mate next season.

The way the goalie market is so flooded they can get an experienced guy for rather cheap. After all, Rolly is rather old and I don't know if I'd actually be comfortable with him being the guy for a full season without some kind of decent fall-back option. Never know when that bubble will finally burst.

Yeah and earn's one thing, but for how many years (and at what salary) do you bring back a 41-year-old, even with limited on-ice wear? I think that may be the stumbling block, and it's not insignificant considering that Pekka Rinne's going to be the only real star UFA available in net the following year.
