    Default Schneider to the Jets?

Take it for what it's worth, but if I had to rank the most likely place for Corey Schneider to end up next season it would be...

Winnipeg (Assuming some moron doesn't keep the team in Phoenix)

Bryzgalov basically just said he wouldn't sign in Winnipeg if the Coyotes moved.

Suffice it to say, after the Detroit series Winnipeg wouldn't want him anyway...

Here's where Schneider comes in. Played for the Moose for years in the Peg. Just makes sense.

    Yandle (wishful thinking)!

Actually Doan would look good in Vancouver blue and green.

I think the idea here is that the Coyotes wouldn't need Schneider, but the Jets would likely have a goaltending position to fill.

Yeah, but the "Winnipeg Jets" just has such a better ring to it.

Not sure this logic holds up too much. He played for the Moose in hopes of being a Canuck -- it's not like he's from there. I'm thinking that after spending a few winters in Winnepeg, he'd be less likely to want to be there.

It really does, what a great team name. Btw did anyone else notice that those Americans can't pronounce "coyotes."

Sort of, but he would have friends there so it wouldn't be so bad.

It won`t matter what Schneider wants. The Canucks will move him to the highest bidder. Schneider has no say in the matter.

The asking price would be a lot more than Boedker by the way. Doan, maybe.

Disagree on the asking price Deaner. The market for goaltenders is so watered down.
Halak went for Eller + D prospect, Lehtonen went to Dallas for Vishnevsky + pick, Roloson to TB for Wishart, Montoya for a pick all in the past year.

The Canucks would be lucky to get a prospect of Boedker's calibre for Schneider based on the market. I think the more likely scenario would be something involving a combination (2) of MacLean, Goncharov, Korpikoski, pick, etc.
