Default ESPN - No dual eligible players?

ESPN are usually pretty generous with dual/triple eligibility but right now I barely see any players eligible for more than one position. Anyone knows what's going on? It has a quite big impact in my keeper league as managers have assumed they could use, for example, the LW keeper spot for Zibanejad but he is now only a C. If it sticks my league will be shaken up I guess, as you're only allowed to keep 1 player per position.

I suspect they will slowly refill most dual eligibilities over the start of the season.

We just did our draft last night in ESPN and we noticed the same thing. I also couldn't find any answers when searching around. Hopefully, they give back dual eligibility soon.

This. ESPN does this every freaking year. They re-set the season and strip almost every player to 1 position. Then a LWer takes 2 face-offs in a pre-season game and gets C eligibility and by early season you have basically the exact same positional allotments as the previous season. rinse, repeat.

It would be great if some fantasy platform held players to just one position.
Fantasy platforms need to do that. Make a statement at start of the year that teams will go with just one position. Hold it. All year.
I'd love to actually draft in a one-year league like that.

Agreed. ESPN has really painted themselves into a corner with the precedent they set.
The only stat where it really matters is FOW. But committing to one roster spot would give the crafty manager with vision an edge.
Heck it would be even better if they did NOTHING over the offseason, acknowledging many forwards get multiple positions. The way they do it is the worst possible option.
