I think with the way the large houses sell right now, getting your 2million dollar house on the market ASAP to get as much interest as possible is what is happening. Housing market is insane, but the top end houses still take time to sell. Can remove it from the market in 3 weeks if he re-signs. If it sells before he makes a decision, he can buy a larger house lol. Or put it as part of a contract/condition saying he'll move out at X date.

I don't think Danault returns, but I also don't think listing his house for sale is a large indicator he's 100% out.

As per MB this morning referring to Weber. "He won't be back next season, and probably won't be back for his career."

Apparently Habs will be signing Cedric Paquette to a 1 year 950k deal that can't be finalized until Wednesday.

The way he played this year screams 13th forward or AHL. I hope he can get back to the level of play he showed in TB.

Maybe just insurance if Evans doesn't continue to develop, but I agree with this assessment.

If he were to clear waivers I would prefer Paquette in the AHL over any career AHLer or fringe prospect with no NHL future. At least he can potentially be of some value to the Canadiens.

It's easier to get players through waivers these days

No risk and a bit of reward potential.

Toronto gave them PP chance after PP chance and the Habs couldn't generate much offense there. It's one game but if the Habs expect to challenge for a playoff spot this year, that PP has got to get better.

Oh totally, man. This is 100%. Their ES scoring is going to be solid again, despite the loss of Danault, but the key is the PP. I think Hoffman coming back will help big time, but we'll see.
