Somehow this starts on Thursday....probably ends mid July. Not a huge basketball fan but any fan of sports has to be jacked for this.

I just can't get myself excited about basketball. The game doesn't have big moments. There's too many points that you just can't get extremely excited either way. Hockey you get pumped when there's a goal, football in a touchdown. In soccer people lose their minds when someone scores. Baseball has big scoring plays, an heck even golf is more intense in some moments.
Basketball to me is just too watered down during the game to be interesting. Especially now when teams are getting stacked, there's just nothing there for the casual fan.

don't really follow much baseketball or know anything about it really. but am pulling for GS to win. Seth Curry seems like a nice guy. That's my reasoning...try tearing that to shreds!! haha

    GO WARRIORS

..... but no im not excited. just like watching the last game or two to see the trophy get presented

I don't follow the NBA much but I always get entertained when Curry goes on one of those huge scoring runs. Nobody does it like him.

why isn't "who cares" a potential response?

Also, just to clarify, are we voting on who will win the NBA championship this year? Or next year? Or the year after? Or the year before?

How about a poll about the next team not named Cavs or GS to make the finals...

Or even just a poll on the year that it's not these two in the finals.

I went Cavs in seven. Lebron is the greatest player in the history of the game and the finals is what he lives for. He even admitted as much when asked about a big game in the regular season for first in the East.

This is his seventh straight finals appearance and he'll find a way to pull it out.

LeBron may be able to get the series to 6 games but I feel you can't stop Curry and Durant from winning 4/7.

It's not just Lebron. Love, Kyrie, Smith, Thompson, and Korver (big game difference maker).

I hate GSW and Lebron, but I hate GSW more.

Warriors in 6. They're far too good of a team (arguably the greatest ever).

yup, I'm with you on this, collectively they are 24-1 going into the finals. There is no drama, no excitement in the NBA during the playoffs. It's all about who's going to lose to Cavs/warriors in which round. The finals hold a bit of suspense, but I am so far down the 'don't give a shit' road at this point, I won't even check box scores.

This is the worst of the six pro leagues (NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL, MLS, CFL)
