I am looking for a D man who makes under 1 mill AAV that also hits
so far I have Christian Folin on the Flyers who could pile up 150+ hits
I know this is a difficult ask.. but is there anyone that comes to mind?

Maybe keep an eye on Jake Dotchin in camp? He hits enough but he could spend half the season in the press-box again.

Matt Irwin should be the 6th D in NSH this year, and he's good for a hit per game.
Roman Polak also has a chance to steal some playing time in Dallas on a cheap contract. Neal Pionk fits the bill too.
Just do a league search of hits/game last season, and go down that list until you find your best guy.

I think EB is right there, Borgman won't play regularly and quite possibly less than last year. I'm tempted to suggest Igor Ozhiganov who's starting to look like he has the Leafs' 6D spot but I'm not sure how much he'll hit since I've not seen him in action. He looks like he'd throw some weight around.
