    Post Parker Wotherspoon

Is it worth taking a chance on him in a dynasty setting in my minors? I saw his dobber prospect page and seems to be highly rated there but didn't really produce in the AHL last year. Let me know what you think

Did you just link to a profile that hasn't been touched in 2+ years?

You go to their top prospects and McDavid is still #1 for the 15/16 season

He had a tad more hype before he jumped to the AHL, he's also got A LOT of competition now, so regardless it will probably be a long wait or he'll be overtaken by a guy like Wilde/Dobson/Toews/Aho

if its not taxing your roster in any way theres never really anything wrong with going with a gut feeling on any prospect .

I'm not talking about parker in particular , but some guys just need that crack in the door to open and they never look back .

the islanders actually spent some money on a handful of veteran type AHL journeymen so I think this will begin the strengthen their farm system if they can insulate the blue chippers . The were too cheap to spend money on AHL vets in the past so it looks like lou convinced them its money well spent
