    Tough career for Nash.
Just never had that good supporting cast during his days.
Would've been great to see his stats with a bonafide elite C1 that other top drafted wingers got to play with.

Hope he enjoys the golf course and cottage country.
    Here's to you, Rick!

You could say he is a major reason why Columbus still has a team.

Great career. For some reason I will always remember the season he Kovalchuk and Iginla tied for the Richard. I think with 41 goals.

And what a stud for Canada over the years.

This was kind of a foregone conclusion.

To be honest, I was never a big Rick Nash fan. I always thought he was overpaid and overrated.

    34G, 28A, 62pts average per 82games in his career.

But his international status was always there. 3 Golds (2Oly), 3 Silvers (1jr), 54pts in 60 international games (1pts in 19 oly games). That breakaway play.

You wonder what he could have been on a better team, or would he be shown what he really was? 2nd line player or game changer?

Same here. He always seemed to let his team down. Either that or the team expected too much. Probably the latter.

Overrated, sure. But its because we always knew there should have been more. Part of that is on Nash, but its so disappointing to look back and realise the best teammates at forward he had during his prime were Espen Knutsen, David Vyborny, and Antoine Vermette. I think Nash is a huge "what if"....he WAS the Blue Jackets for the first 10 years of their existence.
