This is usually the case with books that become movies though.

I enjoyed the movie (for something made before my time), I have watched more than once. I think it's the only Stephen King book I've read where I've seen the movie.
I think I've read all his books that have no been made into movies. Firestarter maybe my favourite of them.

I don't really read books anymore. There's zero time for it. Do audio books count?

I am currently re-reading Patrick Rothfuss' Kingkiller Chronicles - The Name of the Wind as it is the greatest fantasy series written since Lord of the Rings.

I just started Norm MacDonald's autobiography. I should've known it would be one big joke by him but for some reason I had expected something more trite. Anyone picking up this book without being familiar with his sense of humour would quickly become very confused.

I don't read nearly as much as I used to. Listened to Unbroken while on a long trip recently. Outstanding. As someone who gets really antsy after being in a vehicle for much more than 4 hours, listening to a good book made the drive bearable.

I am vacationing in Nova Scotia (5 days Cape Breton, then 5 more Halifax), so couldn’t resist bringing along The Halifax Explosion. Fascinating read on the 1917 explosion that decimated the city, Canada’s worst disaster.

This is waaaay better than LotR. Best book I ever read. Waiting for the third book before I start re-reading the first two. Awesome book. The guy writes better than anyone I've ever read. He could make writing about walking to the store a riveting piece.

LotR - kudos to those books and Tolkein for getting things started with this wonderful genre, but there are now thousands of better books in the genre

I was curious if someone would spin something off that.

    Trudeau, Beiber, Nickelback.

Enjoy our home province. Juzt stay away from our freaky new (recently gone viral) oyster mascot. Would highly recommend an Annapolis Valley day trip if you are able to squeeze it in too!

I've actually been reading a few David Duchovny novels lately and they are nice light fun.

Currently on Holy Cow. My favorite so far was God Hates Us All, the book that made his character Hank Moody famous in the show Californication. If you were a fan of the show, definitely check it out.

Bucky F*cking Dent was another great one by him
