Hell of a series that easily could have went either way. By rights, Toronto probably deserved this game. I feel bad for the Leafs fan base, hopefully next year the inevitable Leafs/Bruins match can wait til round 2.

Leafs were within inches multiple times after the Tavares goal. Had to bury one of them and they didn’t.
Rask was unreal.
Bruins were better.
Babcock’s TOI distribution is mind boggling and he should pay for his stubborn decisions.

If you're not interested in endless Leaf talk then maybe skip the various sports shows over the next week and just watch the games. I'm looking forward to the cliche "Who is to blame for the Leafs losing the first round?" poll with about 28 options to choose from.

this game/series could easily have gone either way , Rask was on top of his game tonite , if not, Leafs win and advance! Add in the depth scoring we got from our 4th line and it gave us just enough to win. Leafs with a young talented team who will make some changes this summer and will go deeper in the playoffs as i see it.

Part of me feels awful for long suffering Leafs fans and part of me is relieved that I don’t have to endure the insufferable Leafs nation.

That third goal was the back breaker in the game. I think that game could have ended differently had the Leafs dug in and kept that lead to 1.
