Not sure if you had a chance to read the latest Prospects Ramblings, but if you haven't: https://dobberprospects.com/rambling...ass-vs-suzuki/. There's an excellent comparison done there on the two.

The writer believes Suzuki may provide more points (so him, to answer your question), while saying that Glass may wind up the better overall hockey player. I believe a lot of that stems from Suzuki's elite speed. The reality is that speed matters more than ever in the NHL, and Suzuki has the skill to match.

All that said, I'm in camp Glass. The comparison in that article shows that he's better than Ryan Johansen in every statically category at the same age. It's obviously no guarantee he'll be better based on junior play, but it bodes well.

Also, this is anecdotal, but I saw his preseason game this past season vs the Canucks, and I was thoroughly impressed. His passing, and vision, to me, were through the roof. I believe his passing advantage is bigger than Suzuki's goal scoring advantage, and assists are easier to come by at the NHL level.

This is a tough one because I love both kids upside. I did read Cam's comparison article and I can't find any reason to question his outcome. I'll also say Suzuki by a hair but you really can't go wrong with Glass either.

I'm going to go with glass...long term. I think short term suzuki will get more favorable offensive chances. Longer term I trust glass' game more and think he has a real shot at being a toews/johansen/kopi type player. I don't think the point t upsides are all that far off, but I think glass is safer and has a higher floor

Thanks man! I enjoy hockey and especially fantasy hockey talk. For the record, I was suggesting reading the article strictly as a means to find more material to base your decision on. I definitely didn't mean it in a condescending way, so I hope it didn't come off like that!

Anyway, I sure am! I drafted him in the second round of my entry draft last year (I had 2nd overall, and some guys wanted more NHL ready guys + Tolvanen), and plan on sitting on him until he's ready. He's not talked about much when it comes to last year's class, but I have a very strong feeling about him.

Looking at their draft year and production is deceiving. Look at birthday and production.

    Suzuki for me.

To me Glass is like a Bergeron while Suzuki is like a Barzal. In a point only I’m going Suzuki, multicat is tougher.

I doubt you will go wrong with either, in some ways this comes down to preference. I like the G - A balance Suzuki brings better than Assist heavy(ier) Glass. I would go with Suzuki, but there's really no wrong choice here

    Im surprised it's 50/50.

This time last year Glass was the clear cut winner by most folks around here.
