I remember the rumours of the time of the trade saying there was a big strain between MaxPac and PK, and Pacioretty encouraged the management team to get rid of PK.PK and Pacthes back together

Why would that be a concern? They are quite deep at center, no? And now Shaw is hurt so there goes another guy who can play the position, More importantly - there goes a decent trade chip - hopefully it's not too serious.
