Two-way contract for next season. My spidey senses were tingling about this. Guess the writing is on the wall for both Theodore and Harding ... neither will be secured before July 1.
Interestingly enough, Harding hit the ice at the end of practice today. I feel bad for him. We'll see what happens, but as of now, Endras' value will continue to rise until the Wild sign a backup to play in front of him. Either way, coming overseas is huge.
The writing was on the wall for Harding IMO when the Wild put so much effort into trading him but found no takers. I think his injury this year made him expendable within the organization. He will probably be stuck signing a two-way deal somewhere and work his way up from the minor league.
This signing is intriguing because the Wild don't have a sure-fire superstar goalie waiting to take over from Backstrom. If this guy gets a chance anything can happen, because getting the opportunity is half the battle.
