theres rumours that up to 10 other girls have had similar sexual assault stories and have alerted the authorities. i dont think any team would sign jake with this type of headache coming for a fringe player

tucker poolman seems like a slight overpay. sutter, schenn and halak seem like ok signings.

Im not going to lie, next to the Oilers, I'd say those two teams probably have the two worst defenses in the league. It's going to be a battle to the finish LOL!

It’s a shame, because they now have a magnificent top 6.

Edit: they really needed to get a body back for Schmidt. If I were Benning I’d go after guys like Merrill and Ryan Murray. Not great, but competent back enders who could be had for cheap.

They signed Garland with the savings - top 6 forward they desperately needed.

OEL is a better player than Ericksson/Roussell/Beagle combined. I'd take a bet OEL bounces back with a fresh start & would argue his decline in play was more situational than physical or talent decline.

    Arz. retained $990k per year.

Yeah they wouldn’t know where to find them lol. Murray is a sneaky competent puck mover. They could play him on the 3rd pairing to bail out Poolman, who will spend most of the season hemmed in his own zone.

Coach and GM can go at this point. Coach is good for developing, but has no ability to be the coach this team needs now. We don't need to discuss Benning, it's obvious. I would also do the following:

Trade Horvat - he is not an intimidating leader. Not to his team and certainly not to the opposition. His leadership is his hustle, but that only goes so far and Garland has a better motor, heck so does Motte.

I would also trade JT Miller. He may look good on paper but he is guaranteed to make two noticeable mistakes per game that hurt the team. Bad turnover, bad penalty leading to momentum change or a goal.

Give the C to Pettersen. If he doesn't wake up from that, send him off too.

    What a mess.

Too much owner input. Owner has to go.
