I was listening to the NHL network on Sirius tonight and the beat writer fir the Capitals said on day 1, the Capitals
coaches like to start with what they feel should be their opening day lineup and then who knows who will work their way onto the roster.

Of course, that is how Washington usually works so who knows if Vancouver follows a similar philosophy.

I won't disagree that coaches spend all summer thinking of a potential lineup for the upcoming season. They then have 18 or so days of training camp to see if it works before Game 1 of the season. I can't see Bruce Boudreau stick with this lineup if Kuzmenko and Mikheyev don't show something that warrants them getting the ice time that the Canucks best player will get.

With that said, time to buy, buy, buy on Valterri Puustinen. (I'm glad I drafted him in the 5th round of my dynasty league this year)

That was noted back in the summer by many. Some just didn't want to believe it.

Demko has been far from stellar himself.

    Bruce! There it is!

I'm not happy with the start either but there's been lots of times throughout the first three games where we were the better team. We need to tighten some things up mainly on the PK and I think Myers coming back, although not being a Nicklas Lidstrom, will help tremendously.

The Canucks have pissed away multi-goal leads in each of their three games. Of course there's been times they were the better team.

I guess that's Captain Obvious but I more meant, the majority of the times during these games we have been the better team. So I think it's there.

They might still but he's still a very effective player on our team and one of if not the best Vancouver Canucks. Although it's looking Elias Petterson wants that mantle and Hughes is underrated.

Still waiting for Jack Rathbone to make an appearance this year. He cant be any worse than what they are skating out there now.

I dont think the offers for Miller were adequate. I agree might as well send Rathbone out there and see what happens

1st win baby. Were back plan the parade!. In all seriousness, with this deep draft unless we go on a big time heater here, I hope we continue to suck for a good pick.
