i just think it's a dangerous move to make by moving Mrazek without any goalies for next yr. It's 34days into the yr, and Campbell is playing like Andersen level of games and no one is questioning workload for an injury prone goalie. Mrazek is needed come December/January. And the way Campbell is playing, would he get USA consideration? Which would extend his workload.

If you extend Campbell, and then move Mrazek for a goalie ok. But it's too soon to dump a goalie like Mrazek with no real minor league goalie worth a callup and being able to lean on. Just my paranoid brain thinking the second you trade Mrazek, Campbell's LBI injury happens and we're stuck with Hutch, Woll and GoalieX we would acquire.

I don't know how much of Woll's last performance was great play by the Leafs, poor play by the NYI, or his actual play. He looked a lot better than his first start vs Buffalo. But there was a lot of times I saw he over slid on stops, but could have been he knew he didn't need to stop that slide.

I love his name as a goalie though. And he has the same personality as Campbell it seems lol.

For the last week, rumours of an impending trade happening have been out there. Wonder if it'll be Holl or Dermott. Holl since his scratches have been pretty decent. I think I saw somewhere he entered camp a lot lighter than last yr (like 15lbs or something) so someone said maybe he came in sick and that's why he's looked as bad as he has.

I don't put much into that win vs NYI. The Isles were decimated and the Leafs basically played an AHL team. Not discounting Woll's performance but lucky for him it was a sub par opponent. But a win is a win.

Offense finally breaks out a bit. Only the 3rd time this yr they've scored 5 or more goals.

Ritchie has looked a bit better. The hitting and offense has picked up. He might not be getting on the score sheet, but he's at least not invisible lately.

Well this has been a dominant run. Good for them. I'm happy things are clicking.

Yawn. Things look great really great but things looked great really great a year ago. As we've seen with this team, the regular season means nothing. I'll wait and see but the one major difference I can see is that their goaltender is one of if not the best in the league. For that the team plays better in front of him knowing he makes saves. Jack is a difference maker and hopefully he translates that success into the playoffs. Wait and see though, all or nothin lol.

Most wins in a month in franchise history with 12. Tied for franchise road winning streak at 7. 2nd in the NHL (33pts in 23gp, 117pt pace - 105pts is Leafs record in 2017-18)

The regular season means nothing to the Leafs fans right now. It's all about the playoffs. The regular season is about learning to win in different ways and I think the Leafs are doing that. But the next 59 games are entertainment for us...or I'll wait till game 41 to start my eventual hope.

Hopefully we don't run poor Jack into the ground before the playoffs start.

Woll will start Saturday or Sunday this week. Then they have 3 games in 6 nights at home next week, hopefully he gets 1 of them (CBJ, TBL, CHI), then they go on a West trip and play another B2B Dec18th and 19th so there's another start.

The next thing is when do we think Mrazek is back.

Semyonov on waivers for contract termination purposes. He'll be heading back to the KHL which was rumoured last week.

Ya he was sent to the minors yesterday and I am not surprised the 27yr old didn't want to go there. Sometimes it just doesn't work out, and I wonder if Mikheyev was more involved with the team when he was in the lineup, would things be a bit different. Oh well.

looks like matthews is heating up. he was hovering around ppg for a while which is certainly good for most players but for him he should be on a 100 pt pace. all 3 of his goals last night were just high end skill.

    Saturday Leafs play Minny....

Thoughts on that game? Feels like a 50/50 split, both teams are rolling.

Leafs play Saturday/Sunday and Woll has been banged up and didn't back up Campbell on Wednesday. Hutch was called up to be his backup.
