There's 2 forwards being mentioned with the Leafs in trades that are both really good fits for totally different reasons.

1. Granlund - IMO - The player Dubas wants - IQ, 200ft game, stylistically he's a perfect fit. Easy in the room too from all public accounts. he can dangle and run with the top 2 lines as well.
2. Foligno - IMO - The player the Leafs need - IQ, 200ft game. Similar to Kadri, just with a better, more level head. He's a throwback in your face perfect 3rd line Centre for the Leafs. He is my #1 wishlist deadline acquisition. hands down.

I think it's Campbell's for now. Keefe talking about Andersen being injured seemed like he was prepping fans for Andersen to sit out a couple more games before returning as backup. If Campbell can hold down the fort Keefe will have to roll out the hot hand.

I think with Andersen, the Leafs thought a 75% healthy Andersen was the Leafs choice over Hutch to get wins.

Its Jack's net because of Andersen's injury. I bet we don't see Andersen until April. Leafs next B2B is April 4/5, then they have another one the next week. I think they'll end up having a 3 week stint of "ok Andersen, this is your test for the playoffs. Here's 60% of the starts, have at it"

I would have been shocked if he wasn't claimed. Def an NHLer but the ceiling for him is NHL 4th liner, 3rd liner bouncer.

I can't be the only one seeing Marner and Matthews in OT and being like, "They need to change because if they don't score, you're screwed and won't have enough energy for the backcheck" and it happens.

Last night that's all I was thinking during the last rush, and it almost happened but Chabot bailed them out with a dumb pass. It's almost like clock work for them in OT.
