Borgman signed to a 1yr, 750k, 2-way deal.
backups are always available in the off season if one is needed. What happens after next year is inconsequential if you ask me.
I don't see Kask becoming a legit back up solution. If Sparks walks after next year, then I expect them to sign a Chad Johnson type and just fill the gap externally for a year or two until Woll is ready. He should follow a similar timeline as Demko. 2-3 years to back up status and knocking on Freddy's door. I think we see Woll turn pro and join the Marlies next season too

Hearing that Yegor Korshkov is set to join the #TMLtalkEdit: I just realised that his KHL team is still in the playoffs. It's kind of odd this report came out in between playoff rounds.Korshkov has never been used in a role where he could develop into a legit top-6 F. He's skilled, he's strong and powerful, sometimes a beast on the boards, he's a good skater with an accurate wrist shot and there's a bit of a playmaker in him. He could become a great 3rd-liner
6'4", 180lbs, RW who shoots left. Drafted 31st overall in 2016 by the Leafs.
He has played 88games in the KHL, 14G, 31A (45pts) this yr.
2G, 6A (8pts) in the 2016 WJC in 7 games.
Sounds like he is projected to turn into a great 3rd liner, sub-par 2nd liner.

I actually think he has solid top 6 upside. His lack of use in the KHL one hopes hasn't damaged that prospect too much. I've been wanting him to come over since he was drafted. He'll slot into a prominent role immediately with the Marlies if he makes it across by seasons end.

Joseph Duszak - signed.
I know he played in the Atlantic which is considered the weakest of the NCAA divisions. but those numbers for a Dman are gaudy. I'm really stoked to see how he adjusts to pro-hockey.

I am seriously questioning Andersen's health. He got pulled the TBL game and talked to the trainer for like 8 straight minutes covering what he was saying with his glove. Maybe he's got a bit of the flu that's going around the team. When 1 guy has it, it tends to spread like wildfire in an NHL locker room.
I had hockey and only saw up to 2-0 Chicago, then like the last 3 minutes. But FFS if you're going to block the shot, FREAKING BLOCK IT. Get all the way in front of the shot. GEEZ
