Also, it looks like Neuvirth is hurt again. Maybe they'll trade for Pickard now?

Atleast Hutchinson might get the night off from Pettersson.

    Hutch starting Saturday.

Marlies play 3 straight games (4th on the road, 5th on the road, 6th in Toronto), I'd assume tonight Kusk plays, then backup in Toronto as a Leaf, then back to the Marlies on Sunday.

Tongue in cheek comment. Calm down. They claimed Pickard on waivers earlier.

Thanks for the history lesson though

Leafs have switched up the PP lines in practice.

    JT-Marner-Kadri-Kapanen-Rielly on the PP now
    Matthews-Nylander-Mango-Marleau-Gardiner

Kapanen repalced Nylander on the Matthews 5on5 line too.

    EDIT

Here's the 5on5 lines for practice:
    Hyman-JT-Marner
    AJ-AM-Kapanen
    Marleau-Kadri-Nylander
    Lindholm-Gauthier-Brown

not required when the pucks 200ft from your net?

I'm just happy they did something with that PP. Seriously, we could see the other teams knew exactly what the Leafs wanted to do back in December.

He's actually looked pretty good, he's just looked a bit off when it comes to passing/shooting. His cycle game, strength in the corners, and skating have all looked pretty good.

Whoever expected him to be 6.9mill good this early was a bit too positive.

Doesn't help the league adjusted to their PP around the time Nylander came back, so the GF dipped. Nylander+Matthews combo is still very strong in my eyes, and I'm curious how that PP unit will do with those two on it now. His 56% Corsi is positive, he's shooting, he's got a 10:4 Takeaway:giveaway ratio.

Has he had a rough start? Yes, he pretty much is only in game 1/2 of the regular season when you take into account a pre-season and such if he signed in the summer. I admittedly have given him a much longer leash than what others have; I give it to the end of the month before I expect his shot and passing timing to be down.
