So who gets the call up with Ennis now out for weeks’s?
I made a preemptive snap up of Moore and already have Grundstrom and Bracco.

Either way....Better players for fantasy probably exist on the waiver wire.....no?
Moore called up. Preemptive move worked. Now does he play?
This team......is really really good right now.
Who’d a thunk a couple injuries would make it more Intersting.
Man... anyone else concerned about the potential of Kapanen offer sheet? On a 55pt pace - 22 & 1st full NHL season - & lining up with Nylander & Matthews right now..

I found your ramblings about Kapanen/Nylander to be very interesting and agree with you that Nylander is more valuable on the market, is in the same mold as other Leaf players and that Kapanen is the better value and role player. It will be interesting to see what management does, but its obvious that fat needs to get cut in order to keep a well balanced roster. I agree that Nylander is that fat and could bring a pretty sweet return in prospects, picks and possibly a roster ready role player. Right now this roster is so deep. Kadri/Marleau 3rd line?
And I'm no Leafs fanboy - just a realist. Their lack of a solid lock down D is the weakest link and why Tampa is still the better and more complete team
Just to clarify, they weren't my ramblings, I just also agree with what I read there. I also agree that Tampa has the better back end and superior goaltending. The forward depth is similar. Tampa is a heck of a team but on any given 7 game series they could also be beat by a team like the leafs. Merry Christmas eve all!

I don’t watch many Leaf games, however I am really impressed with Marner. I had to look up and see who was drafted ahead of him.
I wonder if Arizona wished they had a “Way Back” Machine so they could pick Marner in place of Dylan Strome.
I must admit, when the Leafs are playing well they are a fun team to watch.

Bad news. Frederick Andersen is day-to-day and the Leafs called up Kasimir Kaskisuo on an emergency basis. I’d imagine Sparks will get the start tonight vs. NYI.
And now Dubas addresses the lack of goaltender depth within the club by acquiring Michael Hutchinson for Florida for a 5th Round Pick in 2020.
Hutchinson is a body but does he actually address the goalie depth situation?
