21 games into the season, 2nd in the league, +21Goal Diff, Matthews playing only 11games, Nylander 0 games.

However, if we wanna nitpick, Andersen playing 17 of 21 games is not ideal, he's on pace for 66games again (last 2 yrs he's played 66games). On pace for 2,600 shots on goal (last 2yrs avg 2,131.5/yr).

W, Saves, S%, GAA, Game Started
    2C, 2LW, 2RW, 4D, 1Util, 2G, 5BN, 2IR, 1IR+, 1NA

    C: Horvat, Trocheck
LW: J. Robertson, Byfield (C), Guenther
RW: Pavelski (C), Giroux (C), Svechnikov (LW)
D: Fox, Makar, Bouchard, Morrissey, Gudas

Totally agree... Spark's last start hopefully will instill some confidence in Babs to give him a few more GP. Even just to get FA down to 60.

Top 10 in GA in the league as well... 1st time since CuJo?

2002-03, Ed Belfour had a 2.26GAA and Leafs were 10th in GA with 208GA. 1st was Philly and NJD with 166GA (2.02/game). Holy

I always forget it went CuJo, Belfour. I always think CuJo was after Belfour. (Potvin, Cujo, Belfour, Toskala, Gustavsson, Reimer, Bernier, Andersen is the order). Andersen could move into the top 6 in Leafs wins by the end of the yr. He's already top 10 in saves for a Leaf with 4,417 (Bower has 13,468 at first). Andersen could seriously be 6th in Leafs saves by the end of the year (Reimer has 5,590 at 6)

    Wins Leaders
    Turk Broda - 304
    Bower - 219
    Potvin - 160
    CuJo - 138
    Palmateer - 129
    Lumley - 103
    Chabot - 102
    Roach - 98
    Belfour - 93
    Reimer - 85
    Gamble - 83
    Andersen - 83

Last yr the Leafs finished 12th in GA too. What a stretch of poor goaltending/defensive play. 15yrs worth. People who have a learns drivers license are seeing a "defensive" Leafs team for the first time ever.

    Oh my lord.

Pool must be bigger in Russia than we thought. Oz played the bank shot perfectly.

Every game Marner plays, the more I'm glad I paid for a real Marner Leafs jersey. Anyone see him after he was given the second star and he was bowing and hyping Andersen up before Andersen stepped onto the ice for his 1st star skate around? Marner seems like an amazing teammate/person.

What were peoples thought on the People's Jeweler commercial? Seemed like I would have enjoyed it more if she said no...Like the game would have ended and we would have all be like, "Uhhhh, she must have said no right? Why didn't they tell us the answer?"

Marner is already one of the top 100 Leafs in points ever.

163pts is good for 93rd all time. If he gets another 50pts in the final 57 games, he'll finish the campaign with 213pts, for 68th overall. That's ridiculous.

i think it's ridiculous that 163pts on a team that's been around for 101 years gets you in the top 100.

So is the fact we don't have a 1000pt player or a player with 500 career goals.

I hope this is settled very soon. I had a dream last night that Nylander signed for Frolunda in Sweden and I woke up thinking it was true.

he was practising with Swe's U20 team... finally someone he's comfortable going into the corners with. Someone tell him they check ID's - his babyface won't get him to Vancouver

I heard Burke last night suggested the Leafs/Nylander camps are only $300k apart, saying the Leafs raised their figure $200k.
