I haven't, but that means little. My only concern with AJ getting a call up is he seems to take time to get adjusted at every level. I'd hope if they call him up he gets several games in a row to get comfortable. I'm the most excited about him coming up of anyone on the Marlies ... even over Kapanen & Dermott.

Unless they plan on trading the pending FAs just keep him in minors for the rest of the year. You already have Leivo who has been patiently waiting for two years now. Also, Soshnikov is getting closer to a return. He'll probably go on a conditional stint I would assume.

Next year, they should have a few holes up front. Training camp + October will be where these kids show they belong.

    My opinion anyways.

Unless you can get a couple of phantom injuries at the end of the yr to give an AJ a taste, I don't think you'll see him this yr.

    Played great.

Lets see if that continues on the trip out east.

Big game in Boston on Saturday.

Gonna be big down the stretch. I think they've only played TB once and Bos once.

We played Boston back to back mid November and won both of those games. But that was the Boston before they really got going.

They've lost probably like 6 games since then.

Father's trip is now too. Hopefully they can stay focused.

How about that night for the two kids on D, Dermott and Holl? What a night for both their first goals?!

Dermott just looks like an NHLer eh? Just came in so seamlessly!

Dermott is 100% an NHLer. I'm surprised they made the moves they did this summer (inviting the 2 Swedes to camp and letting Polak come back) knowing they had a guy like that in the minors. I just really hope he doesn't become a victim of the numbers game. Also loved hearing the reports that Toronto is shopping Martin and Soshnikov. The team we have on the ice right now is the one I want to see in the playoffs. I don't mind seeing Martin as an extra body to carry into those tougher games in the playoffs, but I don't think a player with his name value and salary will want to watch that many games from the press box.
