Anyone else wondering who's holding up who from signing? Reinhart waiting for Nylander - or - Nylander waiting for Reinhart? They're likely the best comparable for the other and imagine both wants more than the other. Who blinks first?

Tyler Ennis looked good. Could be a sneaky fantasy draft pick if Nylander takes time to get up to speed if he pulls a Gaudreau and signs a day or two before the season.
Sandin played well with confidence and him and Liljegren and Sandin had some surprisingly good chemistry.

Ennis proved he can (potentially) play in that spot. It's still pre-season, playing against the worst team in the league. I think having Ennis in that spot will be tough for Matthews just because he's not as good of a set up man as Nylander, but the guy can also sniiiipe. So it's give and take. Liljegren and Sandin looked good. Loved the play where they kept setting each other up for 1-times and destroyed a couple of guys blocking shots. Carrick looked really bad/uncomfortable out there. I think he loses his spot to ozughanov because he looked good the game before

Prolly Babs way to get these top guys the minutes they need. Second line would be something with:

There's been some talk of Johnsson taking over the half-wall where Kessel use to set up on PP1. He has a shot that rivals anyone on the team. Mind you, Nylander also looks really good from there
JT-AM-MM-WN-MR is a sick PP
Kadri-Marleau-Johnsson-Ennis/Brown-Gardiner is pretty decent #2 - but all the more reason to pull one of the studs off PP1 and boost PP2.
