Look like Johnsson may be a healthy scratch tonight along with Marincin & Holl.

I was pleasantly surprised with Marincin vs Chicago. Like everyone played poor defensively, but he did enough in my eyes to get more cracks at the lineup going forward.

Marincin's biggest problem has always been his confidence & believing he's good enough to play. when he does believe, he's an NHL Dman on all 31 teams.. when it falters man, it falters and he falls apart.

I still can't figure out if he's smart and can't physically do what he wants to do, OR he's dumb and does the wrong play but is able to play well when his mind stumbles upon the right play.

he's smart... his IQ isn't elite by any stretch... but he literally loses a stride if he's down on himself. He's like a bottom pairing version of Jake Allen

So who gets the start tomorrow vs. Detroit? My thinking is it should be Sparks. Andersen hasn?t been great and maybe could use an early day off while Sparks could use the confidence boost by playing a crappy team and getting a win without letting in 6 goals like he did against Chicago. If Sparks struggles against a bad team than Dubas and Babcock will at least know they may have an issue with Sparks moving forward.

Or you want Andersen getting that confidence boost for against Washington. I'm rolling Andersen.

AM34 is on pace for 205 points this year. Gretzky's record is going down.

"I wanna have more assists than goals this year". Yeah Ok there Matthews. Fake everyone out thinking you'll pass to open up some lanes to shoot early in the season. I see what you did there.

That thought also crossed my mind but I?m hoping Babcock won?t over work him again this year. Early rest can be just as good as late rest.

Some of his shots come out of nowhere. I?ve never seen anyone shoot the puck like he has been this season. Unreal.

This is probably going to be a recurring situation for a while

Martin Marincin is set to rejoin the #leafs lineup tonight in Detroit in place of Igor Ozhiganov.
