Klingberg (undisclosed) is doubtful for Friday's game vs Detroit. He logged 19:00min in their last game and looked better but I guess he's not healthy enonugh.

John Shannon tweeted that PKane the meeting on tuesday did not occur between Kane and the Leafs. Leafs sources reached out to say it did not happen

EF said that this week could be telling of what will happen with Klingberg's future. Sounds a bit of a dumb comment really, but you wonder if they're just timing Klingberg's LTIR to Timmins return.

Why didn't Treeliving just sign Gustafsson instead of Klingberg? He used to be an absolute trainwreck in his own end but he's a good 3rd pairing, PPQB dman and a value at 825K. And Lafferty sure looks good in a bottom 6 role in Vancouver. Both of those guys would be quality cheap depth but Treeliving went with Klingberg and Reaves.

I wonder how much of signing Klingberg was they saw his medical reports and thought if he can get healthy his impact on the ice will be greater than Gust. Bit of a boom or bust scenario. And they knew if he busted, he'd LTIR.

I don't agree with either signing in Klingberg or Reaves, but I wonder if that was plan with Kling. Cause I can't think of any other reason.

Keefe said they are still waiting to determine the severity of Gio's hand injury. But he will be out tmo.

Sounds like a broken bone and the swelling is still to much to determine exactly what has happened.

Liljegren, Giordano, and Klingberg out week-to-week at minimum. It's the 4th week of Liljegren being out, but with a high ankle sprain it could be 6weeks-6months depending on surgery and severity.
