Hawkins says in the article that is not certain that he is back this season, and even if he is coming back he won't be effective. Might be so true
What are you guys doing with him? I am so close to dropping him... It sucks if he is DTD taking roster spot and then missing the whole reg season. Anybody see Caps putting him to IR - they seem to be OK with cap space?

I dropped him. I'm not regretting it yet. Infact the more I hear about his situatuion the more glad I am that I dropped him. I tried to flip him for mikael samuelsson but samuelsson's owner wouldn't bite. I think at this point there's no need for anyone in a one year league to be holding onto him. Even if he does come back from this concussion this season i'd say he's more likely to get struck by lightning on a sunny day (which with his season it may not surprise me) than come back and do anything meaningful for our fantasy teams or the capitals.

Green had to go on IR for now so Fehr could come back tonight because of the salary cap. Kind of a tricky situation to be in having to watch the cap so closely each and every game, but that is what GMGM is good at.

Mike Green skated for approximately the first half an hour of practice before calling it a day and appears at least several weeks from coming back. The all-star defenseman is recovering from head trauma and has not played since taking a shoulder to the jaw from the New York Rangers' Derek Stepan on Feb. 25.
