So who's better: Malkin with no knees or Turris?

because of these injuries he will never play at 100% again for his career and hes a lock to reinjure one of if not both of his knees agin in the future.....braces dont help skating...

    evgeni ORR.....believe it.....this isnt a disney movie......guess its BIG 3 again....ovy, crosby, stamkos.....
If you are in a deep keeper league, keeping Malkin is certainly the best option, unless someone is going to give you awesome value for an injured superstar? Do you think it is wise to just release him from your keepers in order to protect a decent player? If so, go for it.

It remains to be seen how effective Malkin will be once his knee(s) are repaired, but writing him off right now is pretty foolish if you ask me. Medicine has come a long way since Bobby Orr's era, which I'm sure you know.

As for the Big 3 nonsense, IMO outside of a season or maybe two, I never considered a Big 3. There is Crosby and Ovechkin, then everyone else, including Malkin, Stamkos, Sedins, Backstrom, etc. And, personally, 1/4 way of this season, I had Stamkos ranked ahead of Malkin in the forward keeper department, but that was just me.

If it came down to keeping Malkin with his current injury or a totally healthy Turris, I'm keeping Malkin 100x out of 100.

Big difference: one knee doesn't have a torn ACL and MCL. It's just banged up, which can heal rather easily now that he will have 6 months or so of rehab for his other knee.

Parise, and this is not a jab at Malkin. I think Parise is one of the most underrated forward packages in all of fantasy. His ceiling is certainly not as high as Malkin but he has 100 point top end. Parise is also the hardest working and most competitive superstar in the league IMO, and his injuries are not as severe as Malkin's. If Parise ever plays for a more offensive team (which could be a reality) he will be steady 45G/95Pt. player who brings it every shift. That type of consistency in H2H leagues is extremely beneficial.

Yep, me as well. I am rarely in favor of ripping apart your team to land a single player. If the player were a prime Gretzky or Lemieux, yes. But no single player today is worth 3-4 awesome players, unless it's like a keep 5 format.

What is up with all this BIG talk..... In my opinion no one deserves to be called big anything until they start averaging over 100 points a season.
