A little bit of Trivia for you all...

When was the last time there was more then 1 player to get 100+ points in a season??

And can anyone name the players that scored 100+ points that year?

Had to do some digging but found this post of mine from September 11th 2017.

Not really a similar story as Kucherov but Giroux could bounce back and produce 1st round numbers while getting drafted somewhere in the 4th or 5th rounds (pick #60 on NHL.com mock draft). His problems seem to be more mental than anything else, so if he just starts enjoying the game more and not putting too much pressure on himself, he could push for 80 points once again. He's had injury troubles these past two years, so he must stay healthy to get there, though.

Always had a good feeling about Giroux bouncing back but he's been even better than I could have imagined.

That was an ugly win. The goaltending seems to have gone to Steve Mason levels of soft goals these days. Hopefully Elliott plays better Saturday - it will probably be necessary.

Glad we got the win! I was nervous about starting Elliot after a long injury. Hopefully plays better Saturday.

If we can win in Regulation or Overtime... and both those teams lose (regulation or OT) then we can move up two 3rd in division (we would have the tiebreaker) and play Pittsburgh... Do we want to play Pittsburgh? Washington? Tampa? Boston?

I like the idea of playing against Pittsburgh or Washington.

Do you think Washington and Nashville will rest players? I am thinking they will because there is no room for change for them. So Columbus and New Jersey might both get the win and then none of it matters.

the guys on Hockey Central reminded me of the Shootout that the Flyers won against the Rangers to get into the playoffs in 2010 and then make it to the Cup Final!!

Guess what the Flyers play the Rangers in the final game with the same outcome on the line (for the Flyers - not the Rangers)
