Yes, and I really enjoyed seeing Gerbe basically manhandle Travis Sanheim, while giving up about a foot. I may be a Flyers fan, but when the broadcast team utters the phrase "Gerbe goes nose to chest with Sanheim", you've gotta love it.

We'll see what happens at the deadline. GM likely wants to move out pieces that don't fit like Gostisbehere, so we'll see.

Flyers moves from the trade deadline:

Grant - Great Depth move at a low cost
Thompson - Mediocre depth move at a low cost

    Getting Patrick back - Priceless!

Is Patrick still worth pursuing in keeper leagues?

Depends on how many keepers. I think he will be cemented in the 3rd line centre role for a long time. Which isn't bad because the coach seems to move the wingers around and there are some decent wingers that will be coming up... But I think he will be more of a depth asset for the Flyers down the stretch and next year.

Ya sorry I don't really have a league where I would take him I was just curious overall. Thanks PH

I was so hoping TK would use the belt cele! But c'mon these guys are flying out there! Hayes is quickly becoming a typical Flyer. 2009-10 Flyers team reincarnate... Richards--Hayes/Giroux as Himself/Hartnell -- Laughton/TK-- Briere/Emery and Bouch--Hart/
    Timonen--Provorov/JVR as JVR/Pronger--Myers(i know bold)/Gagne--Vorachek/Laperriere--Pitlick/Kubel--Carter.

Hart won't let a bad angle shot in the Cup final slip through like Leighton did.

For now... It was never the early years that were going to be the real problem.

I am loving the Flyers twitter lately...

. If it feels like we’ve been scoring a lot, it’s because we have.

    Ode to the Philly Fan,
Our Flyers are playing great but if you have spent any amount of time (me 25 years) rooting for a championship. You know the feeling of breathes being held and cautious optimism. Our great city has been built on the pillars of brotherly love and the never give ups. The comradery, yet tough love you get from a brother and the Rocky Balboa style of martyrs of taking a beating yet keep coming. I don’t propose we lose this identity I propose we add in confidence. Particularly with the Flyers since this is a hockey site. I propose we stay positive, no more questioning the front office, no more shaking of our heads. Just chins up and eyes forward. We as fans need to insulate our team with confidence, cheer them on (seems like fan 101) but sometimes in Philly we have a tendency to be a bit harsh with our teams or even more important critical. STOP being critical! Sit back, trust, and enjoy!
    Sincerely,
    Fan
