yup both him and Nikishin been killing it over there, its funny how they were on same team and one guy got deployment other did not...

I think first or second game with Sochi, Michkov had 10 shots on net too....he has been very good...

2nd place in the Metro...

How long does this last?

When will the other teams in the Metro get going?
Or does Torts have this team playing a system that will help them maintain it?

I believe in PDO. Philly's is at 100.2, they are getting results that they deserve to get. What I don't think will happen is them holding their position in the playoffs. NJD and Carolina are underperforming and I think catch up. It's not like Philly's record is anything huge, I think the Metro is just not playing well right now.

Right now I see Philly finishing in a Wild Card position, or juuuust out. They prolly finish between 90-95pts.

That is way above expectations eh.

When we did the NHL Wins Drafts, the Flyers were drafted bottom round of all the drafts.

So if they get 90 points they will be blowing most people's expectations way out of the water.

I think other teams will get going, but the system is working well. They are even bring some younger players along at the same time. I expect them just out of the playoffs, but a fun season.

I would like to see Deslauriers or Petersen moved out, but that's a big ask.

Guy Gaudreau was invited by Tortorella to help out at today's practice, I'm told

Torts said he called Guy Gaudreau and asked if he'd want to come by and be part of a practice. He said Guy was hesitant at first, so they gave him some time. But he made the decision to come out today. Torts said he'd like to have him here a couple more times this camp, too.

John Tortorella said he called Guy Gaudreau, wanted to have him here.

“He’s a coach,” Tortorella said.

Tortorella wants to get him out here again. Hopes it’s therapeutic for him.

Tortorella was at funeral in Media. Thought the wives of Johnny and Matthew were so strong.
