? Enters training camp with torn pelvis.
? Oct. 17: pulled groin
? Oct. 19: broken teeth from Mattias Ekholm?s stick
? Late Oct: breaks ankle from Shayne Gostisbehere snapshot
? Feb. 16: tore ligament in his hand.

That's about 2 players worth of injuries for a season, and he played close to all the games.

I am hoping we add a couple wingers in the first round, and then a D in the 2nd round. Bob McKenzie Ranking in Blue

In the Dobber mock draft I drafted Joel Farabee (LW) 17 and Rasmus Kupari (C) 20 in the first round, I would love if the Flyers got either of them in the first round.

Other guys I would like to see them draft in first round:

Serron Noel (RW) 19
Vitali Kravtsov (RW) 12
Joseph Veleno (C) 12
Barret Hayton (C) 11- I cannot see him dropping this far... but some mock drafts have him slipping to the Flyers at 14.


Players that I have highlighted that might be around for their 2nd pick that I would like to see them add:

Nils Lundqvist (D) 36
Calen Addison (D) 41
Jacob Oloffson (C) 40
Jakub Lauko (LW) 45

As of now I see it looking like

Giroux-Couturier-Konecny
JVR-Patrick-Voracek
Lindblom-Laughton-Simmonds
Raffl-Lehtera-Weise/Weal

I'd prefer to see a good 3c brought in to bump Laughton down and Lehtera to the press box but so far this is what there is to work with.

I don't see the JVR addition affecting Konecny in a negative way, in reality I see it pushing some more talent onto the 2nd PP unit and likely helping players like TK.

Its also possible that Giroux could go back to C now that he's healthy again making the lines something like this

JVR-Giroux-Konecny
Lindblom-Couturier-Voracek
Vorobyov-Patrick-Simmonds
Raffl-Laughton-Weise/Weal

If that were the case though I'd prefer to see another scoring LW brought in on a short term deal.

I'm pretty happy with the JVR addition either way.

Just Tossing the idea out there:

Raffl - Giroux - Voracek
JVR - Coururier - Konecny
Weal - Patrick - Simmonds
Lindblom - Laughton - Weise

- Raffl has had some good stretches with the two big guns
- this gives us three decent scoring lines
- couturier in a line with JVR to make up for JVR defensive weakness.

OK , so i guess theres hope for Koney. he does play all fwd slots so its possible he fits in any L1 or L2 setup.
