The points are not a big deal. Dmen are streaky mainly because a lot of their goals/assists are dependent on screens and bank-ins. Plus they play farther away from the net. It's like 3 pointers in basketball - they go in at a smaller percentage. The best sign for Bergy is the 6 shots. He's definitely creating offence.

Not much to report then eh?

I picked him up in one league today in hopes to boost my PPP totals. The WW is completely bare when it comes to PPP's and he was my best shot. Dropped Garon, but in this league you can only start 1 goalie and I have Thomas/Rask so Garon almost never plays.

I couldn't trade him to anybody either....not even the Mason owner

Stevie Y said that he expects MAB to play between 5-10 games in the AHL, so it is nice to see 4 games in 5 nights happening. Games in 3 nights in a row? Poor AHLers...

I guess that's mainly to accomodate the bus rides (they don't move around fast enough) so they get chunks of 3 which gives them more travel days.

Despite 1 assist I'm very encouraged by 17 shots in 6 games (232 shots over 82 games). I suppose it's normal for his passing to be a bit off but at least the shots are getting to the net. That bodes well in TB where there is a lot of talent up front. Once called up I imagine he takes the place of Smaby or Jones. They are very deep up front so I don't anticipate him doing the W/D thing like he did in Montreal.

It's AHL as well keep in mind...look at Shattenkirks AHL vs. NHL numbers this year...doubt MAB really cares all that much about putting up digits in AHL anyway, just about getting his legs and feel

How much longer does he need to stay down there? I've been holding him on my bench in 2 leagues but the non production is killer in H2H formats.

Marc-Andre Bergeron was a scratch in tonight's game versus Syracuse. Not sure why.
