Need a trade to help my D

Hi Guys,

I am currently in 3rd place in the league in my signature. I am 6 pts behind 2nd and 78 pts behind 1st.

With Zidlicky out I am weak at defense, was thinking of offering the following trade to help my defense:

Derek Roy and Ian White

for

Shea Weber and RJ Umberger

The loss of Roy will hurt next year but softened a bit with the addition of Umberger but the advantage of Weber over White outweighs that loss.

Think it is worth a shot.

What do you guys think?

With Roy being out for the rest of this season I think it significantly hurts his trade value.

Unless the guy is extremely weak in C, I don't think he does this deal. Even if he IS weak in C, he could probably get a similar return for someone healthy with Weber.

Ian White doesn't add much to the deal.

If Roy was healthy...then it's a whole different story. But there's a lot of season left, and that hurts!

I like this deal for you...I don't think he would accept it.

Since you start 12F, non positional Im assuming, replacing Roy with Umberger to be your 12th forward wouldn't be to bad.

You get a great boost on D with Weber.

Again, it would all depend on your trading partners outlook.

Should have mentioned it, the trading partner finds himself in 17th place. So this is more of a trade for next year. I'm hoping that is how he looks at it.
