I would definitely do that trade. The chance to select one of those guys in your prospect draft along with kadri and ehrhoff? Absolute steal! Take the money and run!

The Duchene for Zajac upgrade is huge, so I would definitely do that. Varlamov is not that bad either, the Caps will get things sorted out, seems like he is their guy going forward. Tough to lose Rinne, but for what you're getting you have to accept this.

That might be a bit much but its always worth a shot. I don't think Karlsson is a guy to target in one year leagues but I bet you could find another D on the wire. Why not something like Thomas, Boyle and Hall for Carter and Heatley? I think you could definitely afford to do that!

Just pulled off a straight Eric Staal for Mike Green trade. I think with the position implication I'm getting the better of it.

I think so yeah, Heatley is starting to slow down and I used to think Kane would not make it in the league because he was so small but he has definitely proved me wrong. I would take the trade because Kane will be cheaper (in salary) and younger for you. Heatley is going into his 30's soon enough! Kane is very young, great deal for you here.
