Crazy game.
Wings were up by 3 goals..twice!! and blew it.
Refs had some sh*t calls, but the Wings needed to do their job and ultimately did not.

Mo Seiter and Lucas Raymond....these two...wow..

and of course, Bertuzzi.....WOWWWW

Really crazy game. Still, some real positives for the Wings (and their fanbase) to take out of that game. The future is looking brighter.

Totally - they stuck it to the Bolts and more than hanged with them, showed glimpses of what this high octane offense will look like in a few years when it’s really humming, and their captain set the tone of no tolerance for cheap shots. Like it.

And this was super cool - goosebumps - how can that not get you jazzed if you’re a Wings fan! They are doing it right, building the anticipation, and that’s why it was the right time to take a more aggressive approach at keeping guys like Raymond and Seider up rather than seasoning them in the AHL:

I disagreed entirely with the suspension and if it had been me hit from behind into the boards like that I’d have done the same thing. Always been a fan of Larkin. Hope he gets some of that magic back. Fun to watch.

He’s a great Captain for this young team - and the upcoming Olympic experience will be great for him and help make him even a better leader.

My prediction - barring injury Larkin produces 30 goals and 68 points in a rejuvenated setting.
