The whole goalie situation, with Yzerman picking up goalies left and right - it might have made sense a couple of years ago when Cossa still was far off, but now with Mrazek being added, with some terms left, while Cossa seemingly is doing well in the AHL... I don't see a reason why the Detroit organization would've "soured" on Cossa, if not for personality traits that don't fit with the organization. Otoh, there seems to be a trend in the NHL at them moment where organizations develop first round goalies, only to trade them when they are ready make an impact.
Any indication, besides having an unexplainable goalie carousel, that Detroit would do the seemingly unthinkable and trade Cossa, and perhaps instead roll the dice with Augustine?
