You guys are all absolutely right, from an NHL real-life perspective. The Oilers should well be pleased at Koskinen’s showing.
But from a fantasy perspective, I’d avoid this guy like the plague precisely because (relative to Smith, in particular), he’s far more likely to revert to stinker ways, get pulled, etc. So maybe not avoid him entirely, but for sure avoid making anything more than a short term investment.

I think it's entirely reasonable for Oiler fans to both be happy for Koskinen's current play and yet still nervous about the possibility (in my mind a strong one) of the wheels falling off based on history.
