They can bury the full contract and not have it affect the cap if I am not mistaken. I believe the amount teams can bury is somewhere around $1.1M, give or take a thousand or two. I thought it was something like the league minimum plus $300k or something like that.

In typical Oilers news...Alex Stalock is expected to miss another full season with a heart issue developed after his bout with Covid last year AND the Oilers are letting an unvaccinated player attend camp. Holland said the unvaccinated player would likely miss 30+ games due to quarantine rules if he remains unvaccinated and if he makes the team.

yep...I know it is pre-season and the time to be optimistic/excited, but with Puljujarvi and Perlini playing well, and the injection of talent/grit from Hyman and Foegele, I have hope!
