Quite the reversal of fortunes. Gets people thinking who will be the better player are the long term. Though I would still like to see a theoretical Laine riding shotgun along side McDavid or Draisaitl, but his future contract value may make that un- appetizing

Also, Laine's ceiling is still much higher than PLD and JP. He's just turning into a situational star it seems (needs a good situation to perform)

few players like line and you can kiss fantasy season goodbye imo

its high value low porduction players like him that are trouble...much better to stay we lower ceiling but more stady guys..or guys who have low value but can break out.

few other guys that fit that mould of line are:

Larkin
Hart
Petterson (it may change but for now value does not = production at all)
Keller
Gudreau
Tarasenko
