That was a good read, and some good comments in there too. They weren't your typical Oiler bashing comments but quite analytical. I liked the comment where a guy mentions how Lucic's successful times were with a right-handed shooting centers. Who knows, maybe there's something to that. The problem being the only one on the team right now is Strome.

My opinion.... Lucic can't keep up to McDavid, so it's pointless playing them together.. I'm not trying to pile on Lucic but maybe the NHL is speeding up and leaving Lucic in the dust.. I also feel like the Bruins and Kings played a much different game then the Oilers do, which played into Lucic's favor..

I think they are going back to it to try and get Lucic scoring by playing him with McDavid but that's just an assumption.
Personally, I think Lucic's best play was last year in the playoffs on Draisaitl's wing.
