Anyone see the Taylor hall water bottle toss? lol. So Taylor Hall slams a water bottle in frustration. Squirts all over Eakins's suit jacket. He has an exchange of words with Hall. Who knows what's said. Oilers losing 5-1 to Calgary in a race to the bottom. Eakins comes out for the 3rd in a different jacket. Lol you can't write this stuff. In a finished 5-1 game, this is the storyline I'm paying attention to. lol. Just too much fun.

Now 7-1... Oh boy this is bad. EDM is broken still.. Looking at another top 3 pick the way it's going. 7-1. Lord have mercy. Eakins doesn't have enough suits.

Scrivens is my favourite. Literally the best thing to happen to the Oilers!

Not to be indelicate about it, but... umm... is there much competition for that crown at the moment?

ps. Loved his talk with the media afterwards, the kid is a keeper.

That was just an utter embarrassment. Its bad when you lose 8-1 but when you drop a deuce like that against Calgary, it's doubly bad. How sad is it that the Flames actually look like a franchise going in the right direction when they were expected to be at the bottom of the league this year, and the Oilers, who were anticipated by many "experts" to challenge for a playoff spot look like a franchise going in the wrong direction. The Oilers look like a pickup truck stuck in the Alberta mud, spinning their tires.

Perfectly said. Losing to a rebuilding team 8-1 at home takes the cake. That being said, where do the changes start? Management? Coaching? Roster? All of the above? Has there EVER been a more disappointing team? None that I can think of with that talent.

Eakins has to go. Guy's a ****ing joke.

The management has been making good moves lately. Scrivens/Fasth, Perron, etc. They shouldn't trade players for the sake of trading them (Gagner & Yakupov) but only if it actually improves the team. They need to try to improve the defense, so Gagner for some D help would make sense.

But Eakins is in way over his head.

Is it the coach again??? How many coaches have to be sacrificed there before they start looking somewhere else?

Wow. I am so fed up with Saturdays.........when will the Oilers stop embarrassing themselves on HNIC EVERY DAMN WEEK! Losing (getting crushed) B2B by Buffalo and Calgary?! I'm done.

I understand that another coaching change is not the answer, but Eakens REPEATEDLY does not have these guys ready to play for the big Saturday HNIC games.........zero excuse for that.
