I’ve watched every Habs game this year but one and Price has no issues physically. His issue is mental and that manifests in positioning. He’s still making every 10 bell cross crease save. Find the video of the save he made on Stutzle a few games back. That is not a goaltender with physical issues. It’s the simple mental shit thats getting him right now - like the duffer goal he gave up late to Tkachuk a few games ago. There’s nothing wrong with him regarding mileage or injury or any of that crap. He’s not focused. That may well be the contract for a number of reason. But the problem isn’t his health at all.

Without knowing the situation, mental mistakes can happen when fatigued. Which can happen if a "chronic" injury is present. I think we all know how much harder it is when going up stairs with arthritis. I'm not saying arthritis or anything, but maybe an injury in the past has come to the point where it won't heal, and now Price is compensating for it. Are his muffins of goals happening later in the game? Is there any type of pattern surrounding his goals against where it's after he moves a ton?

I've watched games and I can't say I've been able to pinpoint this, but I haven't watch enough games.

Glad they force an extra point. There's no reason to even watch when it goes to OT though lol. It's certainly a lose.

Habs are good for speed and rolling 4 lines but in OT you need the big guns who are high-end talents and have great awareness. Habs aren't strong on that front.

This team is built for the playoffs. They better figure something out or there won’t be a playoffs. The cart in in front of the horse.

Playoff overtime format plays much better into their favour too.

Imagine how many more wins they'd have if they could find a way to score when Allen starts. He's lost his last six starts and Montreal has nine goals in those six starts. Sad.

LOL, if they don't pick up those easy points and start offering better offensive support to Allen, they'll be watching the playoffs from the golf course, and most likely looking for a new GM too.

In the last 10 games only VAN and EDM have picked up more points (in the division). VAN is the team behind them and have played 4 more games, and I don't suspect VAN to keep the hot pace going near this well either.

If Montreal continues their current pace (which they will hopefully be better) Vancouver needs to play at a 117 point pace to get ahead of the Habs or Jets for the 4th spot.
