I agree. That’s why I like the way they handled it.

Looks like Byron and Drouin out tonight. Kotkaniemi and Hudon are in.

I’ll tell you what, the way the Devils are running into Kinkaid and especially Palmieri after that whistle, he should have 6 less teeth right now and I can’t believe someone didn’t try to take his head off. No one touches the goalie. No one, under any circumstances. 20 years ago Palmieri would be getting repairs in the dressing room for that bullshit and rightly so.

I suggest building a time machine or buying a tape library. What you're looking for doesn't really exist right now.

Right, because in this glorious present and future, players have a free run at the net with no consequences. Wonder if that works out well for goalies. Doesn’t say much for sticking up for someone on your team.

The Steelers didn’t take it so well this week when someone took a run at their QB. It’s akin to what I’m describing and it’s a contact sport in 2019. Some things shouldn’t change, just because time moves forward.

If you’re telling me sticking up for a teammate that gets run over or messed with is done, then I fear for our World..

    As if Eric.. lol.

No way that shit flies in Boston I’ll tell you that. And it doesn’t fly on my team either. You gotta protect your own.

It’s penalty heaven in this third period...

No sense stressing about stuff we can't control. Are you enjoying the game?

They couldn’t let that goal stand. Chintzy call in OT to cost them the game but the Habs beat themselves.

I enjoyed the game minus that stunt Palmieri pulled on the goalie and to add insult to injury he scores the winner on that BS call.

Should have never happened. That goal at the end of the second, Nate Thompson or whoever skates out of the zone with the puck, then skates back into his zone, handcuffs Weber with a shit pass and it’s in the back of the net. That play right there, plus allowing a shorthanded 2-1 ... like wtf brain cramps. Woof.

While I wouldn't call it kicking, he clearly forced a dead puck, that was on the line, across the line. Whether by his hip, his elbow, his knee, head or anything else you want to find, he moved the puck across the line and you can do that.

I know it wasn't a goal. The ref's explanation sucked.

Agreed, but what he going to call it? Nudging?

Easy explanation is puck was pushed in with his leg or body. Same way they explain it with glove, arm, etc. Calling it kicking made it a confusing trainwreck.
