    If they're going to do that they should at least tell us how it's going to happen.

    I still think his first-ever NHL goal will be a playoff OT winner.

    So another full regular season without a goal?

    Proud to announce that defenseman Andrei Markov is now a client. He’s been intensively training in Florida this summer and is determined to play in the NHL this season. Welcome to the #OctagonFamily

    @EricEngels

    Won't be long before hockey's back in full swing. On that note, hearing the #Habs are considering 36-year-old Jason Pominville, who had 16G and 31PTS (avg TOI 12:28) in 73 gms with Buffalo last season. There have been some talks. Nothing imminent, but something to look out for.

    We’ve got depth guys up the ying yang. A bunch of depth guys does not equal a team that can score. I’m getting tired of this. Bergevin is whittling away the cap space on the Nick Cousins and Nate Thompsons of the world and we need to do something tangible - like offer sheet or trade for Laine. Buy low Bergie. We all get it here in fantasy hockey. Why don’t you?

    I personally like the acquisition of Nick Cousins.

    We took our shot at Aho, debate until the cows come home whether it was a big enough bullet or not, but we took a shot.

    As for the remaining RFA's and offer sheets, I forget the exact date, but I don't think we'll see any movement until a week or so from now.

    There's a date where the NHL team are no longer allowed to be 10% over the cap limit during the offseason and I read a couple articles about how some suspect that could kick start some things.

    I don't mind Cousins either but we have Weal (who is better and younger) and Weise and Peca and Hudon and Thompson...all suckling at the cap teat.

    Whenever the date comes and goes I would like to see the Habs do something positive to really improve scoring. There isnt a single one of our D I wouldn't have on the table in a deal for Laine.

    I stated this before but the roster on capfriendly has 25 players. Two players would have to be moved/demoted, which frees up cap space. Weise and Peca would be the casualties I think. If either Suzuki or Poehling make the team then there's more of a logjam.
