I thought I remember someone touting Turris as a top 20 or 30 centre in the game on her a year or so ago... Gotta think he'd be a #2C upgrade at the very least right?

Turris will be a basket case if he's brought in as the 4th center

It's a bit expensive for a depth signing. Not much else to add here. It'll be appealing to those that want to see more physical play.

If MTL add Gardiner at the left side of Weber... Am I the only one that will find weird to see Mete in the third line of defenceman (or out the lineup)
The kid isn't bad even if he doesn't score a goal yet

I have no issues with letting him play in the AHL.

Agree completely. He’s still really young. The fact that he played so much last season was probably more of knock on the Habs NHL level D depth than an endorsement of his playing. He’s a good player and will be an NHL regular but if he needs to get a little swagger back down the lineup or at Laval that isn’t so bad.

I think Chiarot, for the limited time I've seen him play, is a very serviceable dman.
We'll see how this goes but I like this signing, 3.5 million is not too expensive imo.
Ron Hainsey will make as much money next season so...
    Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

I also agree, my concern was more about the possibility that he stay with MTL as a healthy scratch.
I see him as a good D (3-4) or AHL for next season

He plays on another team in my adult summer hockey league. He's not that great...
Watching him play in Habs games last year he was okay, but again, not great. I don't see anything wrong with him playing a season in the AHL.
