I don't think I've ever seen a playoff team with a PP that bad. I don't want to make the playoffs if the Habs are gonna bring a PP like that. Weber looks like a shadow of himself (maybe he is). I don't get it. Armia was great tonight. Domi stunk.

Why bother being a fan if we're this negative about an underdog team going toe to toe with top NHL teams? I'm thoroughly enjoying this run!

It's actually not that bad when they get setup. Once Drouin has the puck in the offensive zone, I like the way they generate shots. I have no clue why Domi was on the OT PP. As much as I like him at ES, he just doesn't have it on the PP. KK should've been there or Tatar.

Anyway, that was a good game that the Habs easily could've won. They're competing hard and are hanging easily with the top clubs right now. It won't last because they have to play with a crazy pace to be this impressive but I think they'll keep it up the next two against NSH and TB and then maybe pump the brakes a little.

I agree with Eric though, I'm really enjoying this year and can only be optmistic about it. The Habs are miles ahead of where they should be right now.

Agostino is on waivers. He had a good run but ultimately ran out of steam. I can see him getting claimed, if a team has a sudden injury and wants an immediate 4th line boost instead of calling up a prospect. He'll most likely clear though.

In overtime I felt the PP guys did too much standing around. With an extra guy on the ice there's always someone open. They failed to take advantage of that. I understand putting Domi out there even though it didn't work. The coach wanted a stacked line out there. It's a gamble.

I’m having so much fun watching this team this year. So great to see the playoffs as a possibility when we thought they were going to be so bad. I owe Bergevin an apology...

The PP in OT was poor but even worse was the 3 on 3 line - throwing Lehkonen, Dannault, and Petry out there. It was after a whistle so that was by choice. That’s not a recipe for success in OT. Not a surprising result. Still a great game and they got a point.

In any of the other divisions this team would be in contention for the division title.

Not surprised. Devils have a few injuries up front.

Not a fan of acquiring Thompson. Sure he does well at faceoffs but I think he hurts the team more in other areas.

This move reeks old school Julien

Canadiens get Thompson and a 5th and only spend a 4th round pick. That is rather inexpensive.

    I know it's a small cost, but I don't understand doing it.

Unless there's a larger deal coming that involves moving out Peca for some reason, i'd rather see him play those 4th line minutes.
